| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse commemorates the Ossetian poet and literary scholar Nafi Djoussoïty (1925–2017), depicting his bust in left-facing profile relief set within a circular medallion to the left of the field. At centre, a vertically oriented torch with a coloured red-and-orange enamelled flame rises from the lower field, symbolising enlightenment and cultural heritage. To the right, a lyre encircled by a laurel wreath represents his literary contribution, flanked by the dates '1925' and '2017' denoting his birth and death years. The name 'НАФИ' appears in bold raised lettering at the top of the field, and 'ДЖУСОЙТЫ' is inscribed along the lower arc. The background is a polished black field with a textured surround at the upper and lower margins. |
