| Obverse description | Against a deeply mirrored black field, the central design features the coat of arms of the Republic of South Ossetia within a beaded inner circle: a snow leopard passant to the left before stylised mountain peaks. The legend РЕСПУБЛИКÆ ХУССАР ИРЫСТОН / РЕСПУБЛИКА ЮЖНАЯ ОСЕТИЯ curves around the inner medallion. The denomination 25 ЗÆРИНЫ appears in bold relief at the top of the field, flanked on either side by a decorative border of rosette motifs. The inscription НАЦИОНАЛОН БАНК is inscribed in large letters across the lower field, with the date 2025 and fineness mark Ag925 31,1 positioned below the central medallion. The mint mark ММД appears beneath the central device. |

To the left, an Order of Glory star is depicted with a submachine gun across its face, suspended from a ribbon bar, with the years 1913 and 1943 inscribed diagonally along diagonal striped lines, and a five-pointed star at upper left.
