Obverse description Uniformed effigy of King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) facing left, depicted as a young man wearing military dress with epaulettes and decorations visible at the truncation. A Thai legend curves along the left and right periphery, flanked by a beaded border encircling the entire design. The portrait is rendered in a realistic style befitting a posthumous commemorative issue.

Reverse description A boldly rendered Garuda, the mythical divine bird of Hindu-Buddhist tradition and royal emblem of Thailand, depicted full-face with wings spread wide, human torso, and taloned feet splayed outward. The denomination '๒๕ สต.' (25 Satang) appears in Thai numerals and script at the center below the Garuda figure, with the Thai legend 'รัฐบาลไทย' (Thai Government) arcing across the upper field and the Buddhist Era date 'พ.ศ.๒๔๘๙' along the lower periphery. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
