| 裏面の説明 | The reverse features a richly detailed, multi-layered composition honoring the Venetian Renaissance master Jacopo Tintoretto. In the upper portion of the mirror-polished field, a portrait of the artist — bearded, rendered in fine engraved relief — is depicted against a dark background, accompanied by the Cyrillic legend ТИНТОРЕТТО (Tintoretto) in italic lettering. The lower two-thirds of the reverse are dominated by a color-enameled reproduction of Tintoretto's painting 'The Birth of John the Baptist,' showing the Virgin Mary and attendant figures tending to the newborn, rendered in vivid polychrome enamel including red, blue, and gold tones. Flanking the central color scene, additional figures from the composition are depicted in silver relief against a frosted or dark background, lending a three-dimensional sculptural quality to the design. A decorative foliate ornament appears at the lower border, completing the artistic presentation. |
