| 裏面の説明 | The central field depicts a dramatic naval battle scene showing sailing warships during the storming of the Corfu fortress in 1799, rendered with fine detail of rigging, sails, and cannon fire. To the upper left, a portrait medallion of Admiral Fyodor Fyodorovich Ushakov is shown in profile, with the semicircular inscription 'Ф.Ф.УШАКОВ' immediately below it. Along the upper rim, on a ribbon banner, the legend '300-ЛЕТИЕ РОССИЙСКОГО ФЛОТА' (The 300th Anniversary of the Russian Fleet) is inscribed. Along the lower rim the inscription 'ШТУРМ КРЕПОСТИ КОРФУ · 1799 г.' (The Storming of the Corfu Fortress, 1799) completes the design. The composition commemorates the tricentenary of the Russian Navy and one of its most celebrated early victories. |
