| 正面描述 | Central field features the double-headed eagle emblem of the Russian Federation, displayed with wings spread and detailed feather work in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The eagle is enclosed within an inner beaded border. The legend ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ (Twenty Five Roubles) arcs along the upper periphery, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) is inscribed below the eagle. The date 2000 Г. appears along the lower rim, flanked by the fineness designation Ag 900 to the left and the weight 155,5 (grams, indicating a troy ounce equivalent) to the right, with the Moscow Mint monogram ММД. |

Issued as part of Russia's large-format commemorative silver program that expanded aggressively through the 1990s and into the 2000s, these 173-gram pieces were struck at the Moscow Mint (MMD) in relatively small proof editions intended entirely for collectors — none entered general circulation. The State Bank of Russia series specifically marked the 140th anniversary of the founding of the State Bank, established by Alexander II in 1860 as a central credit institution to stabilize an economy badly damaged by the Crimean War.
