| 表面の説明 | At the centre of the obverse stands the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, rendered in the style of Ivan Bilibin, with wings displayed and crowned heads facing left and right. Beneath the eagle, inscribed in the field, are the metal designation, fineness, mint mark, and fine gold content: Au 999 ММД 3,11. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, with the denomination and date legend «25 РУБЛЕЙ 1993 г.» arcing along the upper rim, and the issuer's name «БАНК РОССИИ» along the lower rim in Cyrillic characters. |

Part of Russia's first post-Soviet precious metal commemorative program, this issue was struck at the Moscow Mint in 1993 as the newly reconstituted Bank of Russia moved to establish hard-currency collectibles as a source of foreign exchange. The series was aimed squarely at Western buyers, priced in dollars and distributed through international numismatic dealers rather than domestic channels.
Mintage was capped at 1,500 pieces worldwide.
