| Descrizione del rovescio | The Imperial Russian double-headed eagle, crowned with three imperial crowns, occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle. The eagle bears a central shield on its breast depicting St. George slaying the dragon, flanked by four additional armorial shields on the wings representing various territories of the Russian Empire. The eagle holds an orb and sceptre in its talons. The surrounding legend, divided around the design, reads '2 1/2 ИМПЕРIАЛА * 25 РУБЛЕЙ ЗОЛОТОМЪ. 1896 Г. *', denoting the denomination and date.
