| Aanvullende informatie |
Ajman, the smallest and least financially stable of the Trucial States, funded its government almost entirely through stamp and coin sales to collectors during the late 1960s and early 1970s. This piece is part of that program — a commemorative with no meaningful circulation history, produced for the philatelic and numismatic trade rather than local use. Schweitzer died in 1965, making this a posthumous issue timed entirely to collector demand rather than any anniversary of note.
