| Obverse description | Central field features the Arabic tughra-style monogram of Bey Ali III above the denomination '15 F' in Latin numerals and letter, all enclosed within a wreath of two olive or laurel branches tied at the base with a floral ornament. The Arabic inscription naming the regent Ali is rendered in ornate calligraphic script above the numeral. The border is composed of fine reeding. The overall design is typical of late Husainid Bey coinage produced at the Monnaie de Paris. |
