| Description de l’avers | Within a beaded border, the Imperial German crown is depicted centrally in high relief, flanked on either side by stylized eagle wings or dragon-like ornamental figures emerging from a ribbon or scroll. The design is framed by a horizontal panel at top containing the date 1908 in raised numerals, and a lower panel bearing the mint mark A beneath a sprig of oak leaves. The overall composition is recessed into a square-cornered inner frame, conveying a structured, heraldic character typical of Wilhelmine-era pattern designs. |

| Description du revers | Within a beaded and raised border, the reverse is divided into horizontal registers. The legend DEUTSCHES arcs across the upper field. At center, the large numeral 25 occupies the left portion of a recessed panel, while a sheaf of upright wheat or rye ears fills the right portion of the same panel, with PFENNIG inscribed below them. The word REICH appears in the lower exergue, completing the two-word legend DEUTSCHES REICH denoting the German Empire. The design is bold and graphic, characteristic of early twentieth-century German pattern coinage. |
