| Obverse description | Within a beaded border, the Imperial German crown is depicted centrally in high relief, flanked on either side by stylized eagle wings or dragon-like ornamental figures emerging from a ribbon or scroll. The design is framed by a horizontal panel at top containing the date 1908 in raised numerals, and a lower panel bearing the mint mark A beneath a sprig of oak leaves. The overall composition is recessed into a square-cornered inner frame, conveying a structured, heraldic character typical of Wilhelmine-era pattern designs. |
