| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark red (maroon) and blue, with a wide decorative border of stylised folk-art motifs — heraldic eagles, geometric patterns and mythological figures — rendered in blue letterpress on a cream ground. A central cartouche with a scalloped top edge, printed in deep red, carries the denomination numeral '25' in blue at each upper corner. Below the cartouche, in Gothic (Fraktur) script, appear the issuing authority and validity clause, with a manuscript authorisation signature beneath the date line. |

The central dark-red field bears a woodcut-style allegory of thrift: an adult figure presenting coins or documents to a child beside a locked money chest, flanked by a star, above the centenary inscription in Fraktur. The dates '1821' and '1921' flank the central vignette at the top, and the printer's imprint appears in small capitals at the foot. |
