| 正面描述 | Notgeld issued on ochre-toned paper with a scalloped border. The central vignette presents a bold Expressionist-style bust of a male figure, rendered in black outline against a background of crumbling brickwork, evoking post-war hardship and reconstruction. To the left, a text panel in Gothic Fraktur script carries a patriotic verse; to the right, the denomination '25' in large Gothic numerals is accompanied by the issuer name 'Kahla S/A', the issue date '15. Okt. 1921', two facsimile signatures with titles 'Bürgermeister' and 'Stadtvat.', and the expiry date 'Verfalltag 31. Dez. 1921'. |

| 背面描述 | Printed on ochre paper with a scrollwork underprint and scalloped outer border, the reverse carries an economic statistics chart divided into two sections. The upper portion presents a triangular pyramid diagram illustrating the territorial and population losses imposed on Germany by the Treaty of Versailles, with percentage segments labelled for ceded territories, plebiscite zones, occupied regions, and the remaining Reich territory. Below, a horizontal bar chart identifies the distribution of ceded German territories by recipient nation. The denomination '25 Pfg.' is printed in large ochre Gothic script as a background underprint flanking the central diagram, with series letter 'D' at lower right. |

| 备注 |
Kahla's 1921 Notgeld series was tied directly to the town's porcelain industry — Kahla being home to one of Thuringia's major ceramic manufacturers, and the "Economics Series" designation reflects the wave of municipally-issued emergency coinage that flooded Germany as small change disappeared entirely from circulation during the inflationary spiral following the First World War. J. P. Himmer of Augsburg was a prolific Notgeld printer, handling commissions from dozens of municipalities simultaneously during this period, which accounts for the consistent production quality across otherwise locally-themed issues.
The 25 Pfennig denomination was among the most commonly issued fractions — filling the gap left by hoarded metal coinage.
