The central panel carries the denomination "25 Pfennig" in bold gothic script above a handwritten-style text block naming the issuer, the nature of the jubilee voucher, validity date to 30 June 1922, and two manuscript facsimile signatures for the Vorstand and Aufsichtsrat. |

Dellbrücker Volksbank was a small cooperative savings institution serving the Dellbrück district, then still a separate municipality east of Cologne before its absorption into the city in 1922. This note was issued during the acute small-change famine of 1921, when Reichsbank coin had largely vanished from everyday commerce and thousands of local bodies — municipal, cooperative, commercial — were legally authorized to fill the gap with Notgeld.
Heiss & Co. in Cologne-Lindenthal handled a substantial volume of regional Notgeld printing, and the cooperative's note would have been a straightforward commission. The issuer dissolved as an independent entity almost immediately after Dellbrück's municipal merger.
