| 正面描述 | Oval-format Notgeld note printed in brown on cream paper with a scalloped border. The central vignette presents an ornate decorative cartouche surmounted by a heraldic crown and a six-pointed star, within a beaded oval frame. The large numeral '25' occupies the lower centre of the cartouche, with the denomination legend 'Pfennig' rendered in Gothic script within a scrollwork panel below; the issuer's name arcs around the perimeter in the legend reading 'FÜR MICH ZAHLT DIE BEZIRKSSPARKASSE MELLRICHSTADT'. |

| 备注 |
Bezirkssparkasse Mellrichstadt was a district savings bank in Lower Franconia, and like hundreds of similar municipal institutions in 1920 Germany, it issued its own Kleingeldersatz — small-change substitute — as Reichsmünzen vanished from circulation through hoarding and metal shortages. These notgeld pieces were more administrative necessity than monetary policy, authorized under wartime emergency frameworks that outlasted the war itself.
At 48 × 32 mm, this is among the smallest paper notgeld produced anywhere in the Weimar period.
