| 正面描述 | Pink-tinted notgeld on paper with an ornamental guilloche border framing the entire face. The denomination numeral '25' appears in oval cartouches at upper left and upper right, with the central text in Gothic blackletter script reading 'Gegen diesen Gutschein zahlt die Sparkasse der Stadt Bodenwerder Fünfundzwanzig Pfennige dem Ueberbringer.' A small vignette of the Bodenwerder town hall or civic building is centered in the lower portion, flanked by two manuscript signatures, with the issue date 'den 1. Juni 1918' and a validity clause stating 'Ungültig 12 Monate nach Friedensschluß.' The printer's imprint 'Druck SELMAR BAYER BERLIN S.O. 36' appears at the very foot of the note. |

| 备注 |
Bodenwerder notgeld from the First World War inflation period, issued by the municipal savings bank rather than a commercial or state institution — a telling sign of how far currency issuance had devolved by 1918. Selmar Bayer in Berlin handled enormous volumes of small-denomination emergency notes for towns across Germany during this period, and the Bodenwerder piece is one of hundreds of such commissions the firm fulfilled in that final war year.
The dual-signature requirement — Stoltenberg and Unger — reflects local administrative oversight, a formality that did little to mask the essentially improvised nature of the whole enterprise.
