The large denomination numeral '25' appears at the top centre above the word 'Pfennig' in decorative script, while Low German folk verses in cursive script fill the left and right margins. At the foot, a two-line validity inscription and the facsimile signatures of the Rat (council) and Stadtverordneten-Vorsteher are rendered in flowing calligraphic script. |
