Denomination numerals '25' appear in circular cartouches at upper left and upper right. A lower text panel in Fraktur script carries the issuing authority inscription, the date '9. April 1920', the city arms in an oval vignette at centre-right, a handwritten magistrate signature, and a red serial number at lower left. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse is laid out with a plain guilloche-patterned border frame and ornamental floral side panels in grey-black. The four corners each carry the numeral '25' in bold Gothic type within plain square cartouches. A central oval vignette at the bottom displays the Erfurt city emblem — a cartouche wheel motif with foliate ornament. The main field is occupied by a block of Fraktur text setting out the legal tender conditions of the note. |
