The four corners each carry the numeral '25' in bold Gothic type within plain square cartouches. A central oval vignette at the bottom displays the Erfurt city emblem — a cartouche wheel motif with foliate ornament. The main field is occupied by a block of Fraktur text setting out the legal tender conditions of the note. |
