| Obverse description | Central vignette occupies the upper portion of the note with a panoramic view of the Erfurt Cathedral (Dom) and the Severikirche rendered in dark blue letterpress against a fine guilloche underprint. Denomination numerals '25' appear in circular cartouches at upper left and upper right. A lower text panel in Fraktur script carries the issuing authority inscription, the date '9. April 1920', the city arms in an oval vignette at centre-right, a handwritten magistrate signature, and a red serial number at lower left. |
