A central semicircular vignette in blue carries the text GUTSCHEIN DER STADT OLDENBURG HOLSTEIN arched above the large numeral 25, with the validity clause DIESER SCHEIN IST GÜLTIG BIS 1 JAN 1922 in a circular band; flanking vignettes depict cattails on the left and a wheat sheaf on the right. The lower portion carries a text panel with redemption conditions and a facsimile signature of Der Magistrat, with the printer's imprint JULIUS SIMONSEN, OLDENBURG (HOLST) along the bottom margin. |

The left panel shows a townscape view of Stargard with a church spire reflected over water; the central panel presents the municipal coat of arms of Oldenburg in Holstein — a crenellated tower gate in blue on a shield, flanked by cattail and wheat motifs and surmounted by a decorative wreath with the designer's monogram H. 99 — while the right panel depicts a rural scene of Oldenburg with a chapel and bare trees. Denomination numerals 25 appear in all four corners, and two further Low German verse lines are inscribed along the lower border. |
