正面描述	Salmon-orange and dark brown letterpress note with a fine guilloche underprint at centre. The denomination "25 PFENNIG" is set in bold type to the left, above a serial number panel, with the legend "Gutschein über" and a red series letter above. To the right stands an intaglio-style vignette of Jan von Werth, the celebrated Cologne cavalry general, in period armour and cloak, his name inscribed below. A dark brown ornamental border frames the note, with the denomination numeral "25" repeated in each corner cartouche; "STADT KÖLN 1921" appears in the top and bottom border bands. A circular red official city stamp is applied at lower left, alongside the date "Köln, den 13. Juli 1921" and the facsimile signature of the Oberbürgermeister.
