| 背面描述 | The reverse is dominated by a finely engraved landscape vignette occupying the upper three-quarters of the note, showing a multi-building convalescent or rest home complex set against rolling hills and a cloudy sky, with gardens, trees, and a path in the foreground. Below the vignette, the denomination '25 Pfennig' is repeated in bold Gothic type at the lower left and right corners, with a central text panel identifying the depicted institution. |

| 备注 |
Sondershausen was the former residence of the Schwarzburg-Sondershausen principality, dissolved in 1918, and by 1921 its municipal government was scrambling to cover the chronic small-change shortage that plagued virtually every German town in the early Weimar period. This note is Notgeld in the strictest functional sense — issued not for collector appeal but because copper and nickel coinage had effectively vanished from circulation.
The Gra#1241.2b suffix indicates a recognized paper or print variant within the series; Grabowski's cataloguing of Sondershausen material distinguishes at least two subvariants for this denomination.
