The left panel contains a full-length figure of a robed saint, the central panel presents a polychrome view of the Zahnrad-Bahnhof (rack railway station) with a steam train on the tracks, and the right panel bears the civic coat of arms of Sankt Andreasberg flanked by pine branches. The lower margin carries a serial number box marked 'No 01302', a validity clause in Gothic script, the issue date 'St. Andreasberg i. Harz, den 1.
