| Description de l’avers | The obverse is divided into three horizontal vignette panels beneath a bold Fraktur denomination banner reading 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig'. The left panel contains a full-length figure of a robed saint, the central panel presents a polychrome view of the Zahnrad-Bahnhof (rack railway station) with a steam train on the tracks, and the right panel bears the civic coat of arms of Sankt Andreasberg flanked by pine branches. The lower margin carries a serial number box marked 'No 01302', a validity clause in Gothic script, the issue date 'St. Andreasberg i. Harz, den 1. Oktober 1921', the issuing authority 'die Kurverwaltung', and a manuscript signature, with the printer's imprint 'Buchdruckerei Karl Gieseke, Bad Lauterberg (Harz)' printed below. |

Denomination tablets reading '25 Pfennig' occupy the upper left and upper right corners against a pale blue guilloche ground. The central upper area carries the text 'Höhenkurort und Wintersportplatz' in bold Fraktur, surmounted by a large legend 'St. Andreasberg im Harz'.
