A central vignette presents a standing figure in traditional white salt-worker's attire holding a small statuette, set against a panoramic view of the Salzungen town square with characteristic gabled buildings and church spires to left and right. The denomination 25 PF. appears in red numerals in the upper corners, with the place name BAD SALZUNGEN in large red display lettering at the foot, flanked by the validity notice Gültig bis 1 Monat nach Aufruf and the date Salzungen, den 10. Juni 1921 with the Magistrat's manuscript signature Sitte. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed in orange and dark green on a stippled ground, with the heading Solbad Salzungen in ornate black Fraktur script on an orange panel across the top, flanked by denomination tablets reading 25 PF. in each upper corner. The central design consists of a large oval wreath vignette enclosing a detailed line-drawn view of the Gradierhaus (saline graduation house) with its ornate Victorian pavilion architecture, flanking colonnaded wings, mature trees, and strolling figures in the foreground. A decorative scroll cartouche at the foot carries the caption Gradierhaus, and the printer's imprint REINECK & KLEIN, WEIMAR appears along the lower margin. |
