The city arms — a crossed anchor and key — occupy the centre top between the denomination numerals '25' in each upper corner. The Goethe quotation 'Nach Golde drängt, am Golde hängt doch Alles' arches above the central vignette, while the body text below records the payment obligation, issue date of 24 December 1920, and bears the circular Magistrat seal alongside two manuscript signatures. |
