| Description de l’avers | Cream-coloured note with salmon-pink border, centred on a stylised green vignette of a winged dragon or wyvern coiled in a circular form, its tail encircling a small beast at lower right and its body surmounted by a heraldic cross motif. The denomination numeral '25' in bold green Fraktur type appears at upper left and upper right, each accompanied by the word 'Pfennig' below. Within the circular vignette, the issuing authority, date, and a manuscript facsimile signature above the title 'Bürgermeister' are rendered in Gothic script. The printer's imprint 'Buch- und Kunstdruckerei J. P. Himmer, Augsburg.' appears in small letterpress type below the lower border. |

| Description du revers | Salmon-pink border frames three vertical panels printed in green and black. The left panel carries a woodcut-style vignette of two birds in flight over water. The central panel, bordered by an ornate green Art Nouveau cartouche, bears the place name and a descriptive text in Gothic script identifying Langenaltheim as a locality in Bavaria and the site of lithographic stone and numerous fossil finds. The right panel presents a vignette of a quarry or rocky outcrop with a fossil embedded in the foreground stone and a settlement visible on the horizon. |
