Two heraldic shields occupy the centre: the left shield (green) bears a male profile portrait, and the right shield (tan) displays a cross; the numeral '25' is superimposed between them atop a foliate ornamental vignette. The denomination in Gothic blackletter script, 'Fünfundzwanzig-Pfennig', runs across the upper portion beneath the municipal heading 'Masurens Hauptstadt Lyck', with issue text, date '1.
