| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is set against a diamond-pattern guilloche underprint in warm ochre and green tones, with a decorative border framing the entire design. Two heraldic shields occupy the centre: the left shield (green) bears a male profile portrait, and the right shield (tan) displays a cross; the numeral '25' is superimposed between them atop a foliate ornamental vignette. The denomination in Gothic blackletter script, 'Fünfundzwanzig-Pfennig', runs across the upper portion beneath the municipal heading 'Masurens Hauptstadt Lyck', with issue text, date '1. Oktober 1920', serial number in red, and two manuscript signatures of Der Magistrat arranged in the lower field. |
