A central vignette in green intaglio-style letterpress renders a seal or sea creature resting on rocks, with the issuer name 'Juist' in large Gothic script and the subordinate legend 'der Insel' above it. The denomination '25' appears at lower left and right, flanking the written value 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' along the base, while the serial number is typeset in bold black numerals at the upper right alongside the title 'Gutschein No.' |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed entirely in brown on cream paper within a dotted rectangular border, and carries a full block of Gothic-script text setting out the redemption conditions, stating that the note loses validity if not redeemed within one month of a public announcement by the municipal council at the Gemeindekasse zu Juist. The issuing authority is identified at the lower centre as 'Der Gemeindevorstand' with the signatory name 'Droste' and the issue date '4. Juli 1919' at lower left. The printer's imprint 'Diedr. Soltau, Norden.' appears in small roman type below the border. |
