| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown and olive-green on plain cream paper, enclosed within a dotted rectangular border with Art Nouveau-style corner vignettes. A central vignette in green intaglio-style letterpress renders a seal or sea creature resting on rocks, with the issuer name 'Juist' in large Gothic script and the subordinate legend 'der Insel' above it. The denomination '25' appears at lower left and right, flanking the written value 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' along the base, while the serial number is typeset in bold black numerals at the upper right alongside the title 'Gutschein No.' |
