Reverse description The central field depicts the façade of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, shown in detailed architectural relief; the building was inaugurated on 25 May 1908 and declared a National Historical Monument on 20 November 1989. An arched legend in the upper portion reads ENCVENTRO DE DOS MVNDOS, referencing the Ibero-American series theme of the Encounter of Two Worlds. The name TEATRO COLÓN appears in the exergue below the architectural vignette.
