The denomination in large Chinese characters (圓伍拾貳) occupies the centre, beneath the date line 'LISBOA, 16 de Novembro de 1945', with the value panel 'VINTE E CINCO PATACAS' in a bold letterpress band below. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot alongside the serial number, with the place name MACAU rendered in both Portuguese and Chinese (門澳) at the lower margin. |

The bank name arcs across the top within a ribbon panel bearing the payability inscription, and the denomination 'VINTE E CINCO PATACAS' is set in a plain band at the foot. |
