| Obverse description | Printed in red on cream paper, the obverse carries the bank title in Portuguese along the top panel and its Chinese equivalent (行銀理滙外海國洋西大) immediately below, flanking a central layout that pairs the Portuguese coat of arms within a laurel wreath on the left with an intaglio vignette of a Chinese temple gateway at right. The denomination in large Chinese characters (圓伍拾貳) occupies the centre, beneath the date line 'LISBOA, 16 de Novembro de 1945', with the value panel 'VINTE E CINCO PATACAS' in a bold letterpress band below. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot alongside the serial number, with the place name MACAU rendered in both Portuguese and Chinese (門澳) at the lower margin. |
