| Reverse description | The denomination 25 ØRE is prominently displayed in the center of the field in bold raised numerals and letters. On earlier issues (KM#868.1), the mintmaster's initials LG and the engraver's initials JP flank the Royal Danish Mint's heart mintmark, appearing at the lower portion of the field in the arrangement LG ♥ JP. Later issues (KM#868.2, from 2002 onward) omit these initials, retaining only the heart mintmark. The overall reverse design is spare and typographic, with the face value as the sole decorative element. |
