Obverse description At center, the crowned royal cipher of Christian V (1646–1699) is depicted, featuring an ornate crown surmounting the intertwined monogram, which bisects the four-digit date into two numerals on either side of the central device. The national name DANMARK appears in raised letters along the lower rim, forming the peripheral legend. The design is restrained and heraldic in character, with the crown and cipher rendered in fine relief against a flat field.
