The years '1946' and '2021' are inscribed within the cube, marking the anniversary span. Surrounding the cube within the core are stylised printed-circuit-board elements, representing the fields of electronics and technical culture. The ring bears the encircling legend '75. OBLJETNICA OSNIVANJA HRVATSKE ZAJEDNICE TEHNIČKE KULTURE 1946. 2021.' along its inner circumference. The upper rim of the ring is adorned with a continuous chain of individually styled links, each representing a distinct discipline of technical culture, collectively symbolising strength and solidarity. |

The Croatian Association of Technical Culture (HSKT) was founded in 1946 to coordinate scientific and technical education across postwar Yugoslavia, operating under state patronage as part of a broader socialist modernization drive. It survived the dissolution of Yugoslavia and Croatian independence in 1991 essentially intact, redirecting its mission toward a market economy without the ideological scaffolding that originally justified its existence. Commemorative kuna issues of this type were among the last bimetallic circulation-quality pieces the Croatian National Bank would authorize before the country's 2023 adoption of the euro rendered the entire kuna series obsolete.
