| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Burundi at centre, depicting a shield bearing the head of a lion flanked by two unrolled scrolls inscribed UNITE · TRAVAIL · PROGRES, surmounted by three crossed spears and supported below by two additional crossed spears. The circular legend IBANKI YA REPUBLIKA Y' UBURUNDI appears along the upper periphery in two lines, with the Kirundi motto UBUMWE-IBIKORWA-AMAJAMBERE arcing beneath it. The denomination 25 FRANCS and date 2024 are inscribed in the lower field, flanked by the weight 38.8 g to the left and the fineness Ag 999 to the right. |
