The entire scene is framed by an intricate interlaced Celtic knotwork border encircling the inner field. The legend 'NORSE GODS' arcs in raised letters along the upper rim within the knotwork border, and the date '2016' appears at the base. The antiqued finish accentuates the dramatic relief and fine surface detail throughout. |
