| 正面描述 | The Jamaican national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing pineapples and a cross, supported by two Taino figures — a male warrior holding a spear at right and a female figure carrying a basket of fruit at left — with a crocodile atop a royal helmet as crest and a scroll below bearing the national motto. The legend JAMAICA arcs across the upper field, while TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS curves along the lower field. The mint mark CHI appears in small letters below the shield. The design is rendered in high-relief proof finish against a mirrored field. |

| 背面描述 | A dignified female figure stands in three-quarter view at center, balancing a large basket filled with tropical fruits and pineapples atop her head, set against a stylized outline map of Jamaica in the background. The legends UNITED NATIONS arc across the upper field, flanked by the date 19 84 divided on either side of the central device. The inscription DECADE FOR WOMEN curves prominently along the lower portion of the field. Two female gender symbols (Venus signs) flank the central design at the mid-field level. The entire composition is struck in proof finish with finely detailed relief. |

Jamaica issued this coin as part of the United Nations Decade for Women, a global initiative running from 1976 to 1985 that culminated in the Nairobi Forward-Looking Strategies conference. The series prompted numerous Commonwealth nations to produce commemorative silver issues, most of them low-mintage pieces absorbed almost entirely by collector markets rather than circulation.
KM#126 saw limited distribution outside philatelic and numismatic bureaus.
