Obverse description The obverse features a centrally placed octagonal cartouche in high relief set against a textured background evoking armour plating and mechanical forms. Within the cartouche, the Public Seal of Niue is depicted: a circular central device bearing a stylized native plant motif, encircled by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE, surmounted by a royal crown, and flanked by crossed ceremonial spears. A scrolled ribbon beneath bears the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The denomination 25 DOLLARS appears along the upper-left edge of the cartouche and the date 2023 along the upper-right, both in raised lettering; the Czech Mint monogram CM appears at the lower right of the cartouche border.

Additional information

Niue's arrangement with the New Zealand Mint produces some of the Pacific region's most commercially aggressive bullion and numismatic programs — this issue appearing in Charles III's first full year as monarch following his proclamation in September 2022. The half-ounce .9999 fine gold format places it squarely in the investment-grade bullion tier, where Niue competes directly with Perth, the Royal Mint, and the Royal Canadian Mint for collector-investor crossover buyers.
