The shield displays the episcopal mitre and crozier of the Bishop of Urgell in the upper-left quarter, the vertical bars of the Count of Foix in the upper-right, the bars of Catalonia in the lower-left, and two bulls passant representing Bearn in the lower-right. The denomination 25 DINERS appears in a curved legend above, and the date 1964 is inscribed below. The motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR is engraved across the lower portion of the decorative frame beneath the shield. A beaded border encircles the entire design. |

The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower right, accompanied by the engraver's initials fm. A circular legend in Latin and Catalan surrounds the effigy along the upper and lateral periphery, while a secondary inscription arcs across the lower field within a beaded inner border, commemorating the nomination of the Veguer on 27 March 1806. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded border. |
