Obverse description The coat of arms of Andorra occupies the central field, depicted as a quartered shield featuring the traditional Andorran heraldic elements including vertical stripes and two bulls. The shield is suspended from a twisted cord and encircled by a ring of twelve five-pointed stars in the style of the European Community emblem. The circular legend reads JOAN D.M. BISBE D'URGELL I PRINCEP D'ANDORRA around the upper periphery, with ECU below the shield and the date 1992 at the base, all within a milled border.
