| Beschrijving voorzijde | The Kenyan coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a traditional Maasai shield and two crossed spears flanked by two rampant lions serving as supporters. The motto HARAMBEE (meaning 'All pull together') appears on a scroll at the base of the arms. The date is divided by the shield, with the left numeral to the left and right numeral to the right.
