| Opmerkingen |
North Battleford issued this 25-cent souvenir note in 1973 as part of a broader wave of Canadian municipal scrip produced during centennial and anniversary celebrations throughout the 1970s. These pieces were never intended as functional currency — they circulated almost exclusively as collectibles sold at local events and tourist outlets, with face value redeemable in theory but rarely tested in practice.
Turner-Warwick was a regional printer based in North Battleford itself, which is uncommon for scrip of this type — most municipalities contracted outside commercial security printers.
