| Description de l’avers | The full Coat of Arms of Jamaica occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield charged with five golden pineapples on a black cross, supported on the dexter by a Taino woman holding a basket of fruit and on the sinister by a Taino man bearing a spear. Above the shield rests a helmet with mantling and a crest depicting an American crocodile in profile. A scroll below the supporters bears the national motto 'OUT OF MANY, ONE PEOPLE' in raised Latin lettering. The country name 'JAMAICA' arcs along the upper legend, the date appears at the base, and the Franklin Mint mark is positioned just below the scroll. |

| Description du revers | A naturalistic depiction of the Doctor Bird, or Red-billed Streamertail hummingbird (Trochilus polytmus), Jamaica's national bird, is rendered in fine detail at centre-right, its long streamer tail feathers sweeping gracefully across the lower field as it hovers with outstretched wings toward a flowering plant. The plant's stems and broad leaves extend across the field, framing the composition. The large numeral '25' is prominently placed in the lower centre of the field. The curved legend 'TWENTY FIVE CENTS' follows the upper periphery, engraved in a narrow typeface consistent with the narrow-legend variety. |
