| Obverse description | Draped bust of Liberty facing left, wearing a Liberty cap inscribed LIBERTY on the headband, with flowing curled hair falling to the shoulder and a clasp at the neck. Thirteen six-pointed stars are arranged around the periphery, seven to the left and six to the right of the effigy. The date appears in the exergue below the bust. The design is engraved in the neoclassical style characteristic of the Capped Bust series, with a beaded border encircling the entire field. |
