| Obverse description | The left portion of the note carries the crowned municipal coat of arms of Monzón (Huesca, Aragon) within a ruled frame, flanked by a decorative geometric border of repeated diamond and zigzag motifs running the full perimeter. The denomination '25 Cts.' is printed in large bold letterpress type at centre, with the issuing authority 'CONSEJO MUNICIPAL' above and place and date 'MONZÓN Agosto 1937.' to the right.
